Disha is 8 years old and attends one of the day education centers run by our partners in India. She lives with her parents, 3 sisters and one brother. Disha’s father works as an auto rickshaw driver and her mother works as rag picker. The family is very poor and lives in a small hut in the slum. Disha is a good student and her attendance at the center is regular. She is a quick learner! She is also good at crafts and dancing and participates in all the activities. She is in good health.
