Anjali lives in the slum with her mother. Their home is a tarpaulin shed. Her father left when she was very young. To make a living, her mother collects old clothes from high rise buildings and sells them at a local market. The family is very poor. Anjali is a regular student of Emmanuel Education Center. She is very active and attentive in her studies and is in good health.
