Mauli lives with his parents and two siblings. He is the middle child. He and his older brother and younger sister come to the center run by our partners in India. Mauli doesn’t go to school, but when he comes to the center he is very eager to learn from the teachers. Both of his parents work. His father is an auto rickshaw driver and his mother is a rag picker. All the kids come to the center to learn, play and have some food. During the spread of COVID-19, their family suffered a lot and Mauli's parents were without work. It was a very difficult time. He is very happy that his parents have some work now and that they all can come to center to spend some quality time and receive some education too.
